Well this is the last week as a GDT at passion for promarkers. It has been great fun, but boy I do not know how the girls do it every month!

This is my take on the colours. It was nearly a no go this week as I thought I had burnt umber only to realise that it was umber I had! Challenge 24 PfP - Canary and Grass

Well this week it was my choice of colours at PFP and it took me ages to decide! I like my bright colours and this combo had not been used before.

Sorry I am hopeless at all the stamp stuff so I have no idea what stamp is from who lol. My lovely friend Deb sent me a load of stamped images when I first started and this is one of them.

Well today is the first day of stopping smoking! WELL it was yesterday but the patch made me ill so I took it off and had a cig lol So today I am going cold turkey. Got 2 boxes of smints and a will of iron (I hope!)

Passion for Promarkers - #23, GDT Post

Well this is my first ever GDT card AND my first ever hedgehog card! Anyine who knows me knows that hedgehogs are my favorite animal!

The challenge this week at Passion for promarkers is any colours but with an animal theme.
I have only used promarkers on this card even the flowers and sentiment. It is very simple, nothing to do with it being a rush job as the last few weeks have flown in. Had to have the card ready by Friday too as I am currently in Amsterdam.

I did a wee bit of craft shopping today and have bought something a wee bit different for one of the challenges. Will need to play about to see if the promarkers will work with it! But if not I can give it to my neice Ellie to do something with lol

Well I have to blog and run got a docs appointment and the parking is HORRENDOUS!!! Might get back in time for my diner lol

PFP challenge and one for fun

This week the challenge is a recipe. 3 shapes 2 papers and 1 ribbon.
I am hoping that my paper flower counts as a shape! Bought a few new stamps and some more colours of promarkers so thought I would try them out.

This is my first attempt with the grey pens.

Can not believe what a wii freak my hubby has become! Even after doing his back in trying to add spin to the bowling ball!!! It has been great fun though, thought it would be yet another computer console that I would be playing by myself! I can not get on it!

I have just bought a Wii !!!! Can not believe I am going out tonight and wont get to keep playing lol.
Going to pamper night to raise money for First Steps playgroup (for additional support needs) Going to have a tarot reading and a manicure, then head straight back to play on the wii lol
Having to work tomorrow so having to drive tonight! It is Signpost's open day and AGM.

I have bought ANOTHER 10 promarkers, even got some of the new colours. The way the post is just now though I may just get them in time for xmas!

Well I have been back for a week and this is the first chance I have got to blog a few of my holiday photos! I have not even been near my crafting stuff!!!!

That's me finished at work for 17days! Got my hair cut today and going to get the brows waxed and eyelashes dyed in a bit. Still got a wee bit of packing to do.
I so can not wait till tomorrow to be away from all this rain!
when I looked up our resort in Turkey this morning it was 33c at 9.50 am! IDEAL!

Glitter and girly

This is my entry for this weeks challenge over at PfP. I was not sure if I could make time for this weeks challenge but with such a fab combo I couldn't resist.

So what if my clothes go in the case with a few creases lol

You do not get the real glitter effect from the photos but you do when you click on them to see the big image.

Good luck to everyone in the next 2 weeks. Think I may have withdrawals! Not using my new markers for over 2 weeks aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh lol

Can not believe this is me just posting my entry for this weeks challenge at PfP!
I have had this folder ready for over a week!
It has been so hectic at work and at home I have not had a minute to myself!
I have now bought all my clothes for holiday, got the bargain of the century yesterday in Edinburgh got over £260 worth of clothes for £47!!! WOOHOO Any one who knows me knows how I like a bargain lol

For a wee change I did not make a card this week. Did an image folder, never made one before and I am fairly happy with it.

Not sure if I will make this weeks challenge as I now have hunners of ironing to do! Only 5 sleeps till my holiday and work is soooo hectic.

Went for a simple card as I am still not feeling that great. Have had an abscess in my jaw bone and it has been one hellish week! I would not wish the pain on ANYONE!

OMG I am going to be a guest designer for a month over at "Passion for Promarkers"

I am soo excited but also a tad scared. lol

I have only had my precision instruments for a couple of months and I love using them, but I always find at hard to then transfer this into a half decent card. Oh the pressure to do 4 good cards!!!! lol

I am really looking forward to it as Debs has told me how fantastic all the ladies are, and I am delighted to be getting this opportunity to to try and up my game!

I am a bad bad blogger! Not updated my page in ages! Opps

Have made a few cards but only have one to share. Made my Sister a Birthday card last week.

Have also been making some mock ups of Jennifer's wedding invitations. We were very happy with one of them so looks like I have about 100 of them to make! Thankfully they are very simple, and Jennifer wants to help!

John and I were at the Edinburgh Fringe on Saturday night, it was mega. We went to "Forth on the fringe" Radio Forth is our local radio station and they had organised loads of great acts to appear to raise funds for their "cash for Kids" charity. We saw The Chippendales (yum yum), four comedians, a variety act and some singers, the Proclaimers played their first acoustic set in 20 years and they were fab!

My sister has got engaged!!! woohoo Her lovely man Mark got down on one knee while they where on holiday in Lanzarote, produced the most gorgeous ring and asked the question! I so wish I had a copy of the photo, my sister just burst into tears and the photo gets her in mid grimace! lol Mark says he is going to have the photo put on his tshirts for his stags night!

I had to make a card of course!
Went for very simple!
I am sooo happy for her. Now I just need to lose loads of weight for the wedding!! AHHHH

Here is my take on the colours.

The Happy Birthday banner is also coloured with Meadow green, it does not show up well on the photo.

Was great to get my promarkers back out. I missed doing the challenge last week due to the decorating. I did do a card but it was soooo bad lol Realised on Sunday morning that the card I was making for my Dad was only half done! So had to quickly throw the image (done in red and blue) onto a card with what materials that I could still access. Was not a good look lol

Thought I would still share the image I coloured, though not the card! lol

We have finally finished decorating my living room. It has been a nightmare as we live in a one bedroom flat. Just doing the living room caused chaos is every room! Had to use ALL the other rooms to store all the furniture from the living room. But it is DONE and I am soooooo happy with it.

Where do I start?

Friday night was spent at Blair Drummond Safari Park OMG it was fantastic. The Lions where so much more alert. Got some great photos.

It was a tad cold!

On Saturday I got to meet up with my pal Deb and Lainey. Went to the stamp fair in Edinburgh. It was a stressfull day! Let me tell you the older ladies there could pack an elbow! Had to go have a glass of wine to recover! Did manage to buy some goodies (after the rush had died down) Was really happy I got ink and a few hedgehog stamps WOOWOO.

And Finally today I used some of my new goodies to make my PfP card for this week.

The colours for this week is Apple and Pastel Pink. I coloured the new paper lace that I bought with the apple green promarker too.

Thought I would try doing blonde hair. It has not gone wrong but its not the best lol

We had a charity night for my work last night and it was great!

There was a great live band, my hubby even got to pogo about to teenage kicks! That was a sight to see!!!!!

Did this card yesterday afternoon, went very simple as I had stressed too much about the first one lol

The image is actually my first ever attempt using the ProMarkers. So I just had to make it into a card lol

All I have used is ProMarkers, a card blank and a stamped image.

Had my niece Ellie staying with me last night, she was an angel as usual. Even when I had to wake her at 7am! We had to go and collect my mum and dad from the airport. It was a surprise as she did not know where we were going. At one point she was convinced that we were going to see The Singing Kettle as we were heading in the direction of Glasgow lol (she has seen them twice there before) A wee photo of her with my colouring pencils, have given up with them now I have my "precision instruments" lol

Now need to stop clouring images and make some cards with the pile I have done! Will be fun trying to find papers to match now oops lol

I received a phone call from Angela at Angel Crafts on Sunday night to let me know one of the pens is out of stock. Was offered another colour or to wait till the order comes in. (Tues or Wed) What fantastic service! I really wanted to say nooo I want them now! lol but I am going to wait till they can all come. Still can not believe that she phoned on a Sunday lol I am so used to waiting a while for my orders from Mad about Cards lol

Well all good intentions went out the window last night. No ironing done and no crafting lol. Went to my mum's instead and Ellie was there, so what was going to be a quick visit to drop off a present ended up being a 2 hour play with Ellie lol She ended up staying at my mum and dads so I read her a bedtime story too. then it was back home for a bath and bed! Was shattered.

Good news!!!!!!!

I am now in a good mood!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOO
Do not know what was wrong with me the last few days just glad it has lifted!
Well it is defo ironing tonight while I (hopefully) watch the Jambos hammer the Hibees!
Might even have a wee glass of wine as I iron and watch the football, got no work to get up for in the morning woo!

Mood still not lifted

Yup still in such a bad mood. Just can not seem to lift it. Mind you it did not help looking up the weather forecast for the weekend! HAIL!!!!! We are going away for the weekend to Sundrum Castle near Ayr. I can just imagine me stuck in a caravan with hail hitting off the roof and bottle of wine in hand lmao But hey ho it was the BBC weather forecast and when have they known to be right huh.
Will be getting all my ironing done tonight oh joy! Just typing that is pulling my mood further down lol. Hate ironing!
If I get a spare hour I may even attempt a card, or even play about with my pencils.
So there may be photos tomorrow!

Wedding

Well what a disaster! The card that is NOT the wedding! As I was getting ready to leave I lifted the card to put in the envelope and.... the bloody ink had not dried!

(even after 30 hours!) Smudged to smithereens. Had to run about like a headless chicken trying to fix up something before the taxi arrived. The card I had stamped the sentiment onto obviously was too shiny to take ink. Wont be making that mistake again!

Had a great night at the reception!

Any hoo I am off to see if I can lift my mood. Been in a terrible mood all day!

Wedding Card

OMG!!!!!!!! What a nightmare this has been. I have used 4 sheets of paper, and 5 sheets of card that are all now in the bin! Everything I did looked awful. I was trying to keep to a pink theme as I know Donna's bridesmaids are in pink but it just did not work for me. I had a piece of velum with the most lovely verse and I was determined it was going on the card. Nothing seemed to work. So have given up on trying to be clever and went for a simple card and hope the words say it all.......

So I am now off to enjoy a well deserved glass of wine! Will be back on Sunday with photos from the wedding.

Crafting afternoon with Ellie

My niece Ellie has been bugging her mum for weeks to come see her Auntie Manda cos she want to make cards. So yesterday I picked her up from school and we got to play!
She made 2 cards one of which was a Smirk decopage (or as she called it a dec obama lol) She had great fun, the concentration on her face was so funny. She loved playing with the bug, and thought it was sooo clever lol

A Lesson Learnt

THOUGHT I had done my first ever challenge card. Over in Whiff of Joy the challenge was : black and white with a splash of colour. The ONLY stipulation was it had to be one of their stamps. Well with me not knowing diddly squat about stamps I had looked at the banner and saw that they did Elizabeth Bell stamps, so off I went to Debz blog to see if the stamped images she had so kindly given me was suitable.

After making the card I thought I should just check to make sure! Asked Deb as she was online and yup you guessed it I used a Sugar Nellie! Oh well it is another card that can go in my pile of "will give it to someone sometime"

My colouring still needs lots of work but I was quite pleased with how this card worked out. I love the black and white theme.

My DS and Candy

I have bought an R4 for my DS and finally managed to get games loaded onto it yesterday. (Thanks Nicky!) Only put 15 games on it so far but needless to say I have had to charge the DS twice! So no crafting happening in this house this weekend me thinks. It is all my fav puzzle games and Mario! I am in gaming heaven lol

Oh nearly forgot ordered some cuttlebug embossing folders, the funky circles die cut, pearlescent papers and some brads from Handy Hippo, Came really fast considering I ordered during the public holidays. I have only had a quick try of them so far but after my eyes can take no more DS I will get started on some cards! lol

My poor wee Maw has got chicken pox! I am sure she must be the oldest person ever to get them! Poor scone is covered in them, and it is getting worse! I have never had Chicken pox and doubt I ever will, have been in contact with it sooo much I must have immunity.

Came home from work made mince and taittes for diner then straight on to crafting a get well card for my Maw this time! (have done Mar's will post once I have given her it)

I have played with the cuttlebug and have spent ages cutting various thickness of card so I can use my Fiskars texture boards too. Attempted to make a get well card for Mar but made a pigs ear of it! So now I need to start over.

Bought a new home cinema system with our winnings and while I was clearing out I found an old handbag behind the couch. In a zip compartment I found £68 how happy was I!!!!!

All in all it has been a very lucky week for us!

Well I am off to go and try to make a decent card for Mar!

Made this a few nights ago really happy with it. Think I am starting to get there. lol
Used my velum and paper mania paper I got from Mad about cards, drew a glass onto card and cut it out. Added some glitter glue and flocking glitter to the glasses. The sentiment was printed from computer. Added a few peel offs that were in my drawer. And hey presto! lol

Well it was a fantastic night if you are ever in Glasgow it is well worth a visit to Shanghai Shuffle

We had a ball. Hangover on Saturday was cured by a wee win on the Grand National! Hubby had asked the girl to help him in the shop as he is not a frequent gambler, he read out the horses and she put them on for him. Well............ When he got home he realised she had not put the horse My Will on but Mon Mome, he was going daft as it was 100-1 outsider lol You should have seen us jumping about the living room when it romped home! Hangover gone!!!!! £404 in our pocket lol Hmmmm I can feel a trip to buy a cuttlebug now! lol

Spent tonight watching Gan Tarino and making a card for my boss. The film was great!

This is just an extra card that maybe her kids can give to their grandparents. I forgot to lift the wedding photo that I need for the one I am making for my boss. DOH

The second photo was to show that the cake is a decoupage. I stamped the cake 3 times to give it that 3D look. The first photo doesn't show this. Quite happy with it. It will do! lol

Now going off to bed to watch the football highlights to see if I recognise any of the hunks from the weekend! tata for now.

Yup I know I am late posting again!!! Well our night at the Hilton was eventful! We had just checked in when the Icelandic football team arrived! I did not know where to look! Each one was better looking than the next! After I had put my case in our room I was straight back down to the lobby for a wee look see lol. Got john to go to the bar to get me a glass of wine (as you do!) which also was my LAST glass of wine! £8.95 a GLASS I nearly dropped on the floor! Anyhoo bought a corkscrew for the bottle we brought with us (dunderheed here thought it was a screw top doh) and headed back to our room. Had a lovely Italian meal and off to see Jimmy Carr he was HILARIOUS. When we got back to the hotel we found out that the Celtic player John Hartson was having a charity do upstairs. So we stayed in the bar for a few drinks, I went on to the cocktails as they were ONLY £10 lol. John was like a cat on a hot tin roof waiting too see if he could see him. Not only did he get to see him he got his photo taken with him, it made his night! Simple things and all that lol

Next morning feeling a tad rough and after the most fantastic breakie I have ever had in a hotel I decided a wee trip to the spa was in order. (thought the swim might clear my head!) Got in the lift only for it to stop and 9 lovely Icelandic men got in with their shorts on ready to go to training! Well that made my weekend Simple things and all that lol

After we checked out we headed to the Kelvingrove gallery where the Dr Who exhibition was being shown was sooo good. Then wee look round the gallery was so chuffed cos I got to see an original Laurie.

After some constructive criticism I have removed the teddy! I had planked him there to fill a gap and now realise that it was just too much. Thank god for Deb!!! Would have hated to give that to my boss when I was not truely happy with it. Looks better now with just the bow.

Well after making my roast pork diner in my new shoes! I managed to spend an hour making a card my boss asked me to do for her nephew who has just had a wee boy. Was a tad scared as I have only ever made cards for fun so far. But hey ho she knows I am only just a beginner so she will just have to like it! lol Even managed to use my new Claire Curd sentiment stamps.

Now all I have to do is a 50th wedding anniversary card for her mum and dad. And I am pooping myself on that one cos it will have to be good. Got ideas in my head just need to try them out.........

Yes I know I have been a bad blogger again! Have done no crafting so nothing to report there!

Finally got my new camera! It is fab.

Spent ages in Jessops trying to make my mind up lol It has soooo many features that I will prob never use! It even automatically takes a pic if you smile! This is my first pic I took the colours are pretty good. Can not wait to get out and about in Glasgow tomorrow to take some more.

We are going to Glasgow tomorrow to see Jimmy Carr, and we are staying at the Hilton! Woo hoo. Got the Hilton cheaper than what we would have paid for room only at the travel inn. A bit of luxury never hurt no one me thinks. I am sooo looking forward to it especially to finally getting to wear my new shoes. Yup the ones that Deb was parading round Mar's kitchen in her purple socks! I so wish I had my camera for that! So lastly here is a pic of my new fav shoes!

I am off now to get the face mask on my case packed in prep for tomorrow. Will hopefully have some cards to show in the next few days got 2 that I have to do by Tuesday.

Well I have made a start and made a Mother's Day card. It is the first time that I am truly happy with a card! I am starting to see different ways of laying things out now, even in my dreams!!! I got it bad!!!!!!!

And I got to use my favorite thing! Flock lol . The flowers, vase and leaves are all flocked.

Here is the card I made for Rory's Birthday. I tried to make it look like a magic wand as he loves his magic.

You have to excuse the bog roll in every pic! The bathroom is the only place I get good enough light to take photos and the bog roll holder is a great place to sit them lol

I am also soooo gutted cos the card I made for Rory's Birthday did not arrive on time! I hate Royal Mail!

Spent all afternoon TRYING to make a card for a 60 year old man! What a disaster! eventually got the watercolour pencils out and coloured a Hamish stamp that Deb had given me a while back. Still was not happy with the card but he got it anyway lol I had ran out of time. Not doing any more mannies cards!!!!!!

Cant sleep so got up and of course the first thing I thought to do was make a card! Have spent the last hour cutting out a Daisy and Dandelion Decoupage. Then spent a wee while changing the look of my blog. I am now off to finish the decoupage and attach it to a card, will show the results later. That is if I have been cutting straight at this time in the morning! lol

Well I had to work on Saturday!! It was Signpost's Development Day. We spent the morning in a meeting room of the local Bar/restaurant. Then when we had finished all my bosses and the committee went home! Welllllll not myself and Nicky! I got home at midnight! Slightly the worse for wear lmao

Nicky could not seem to stay on the couch and kept landing on the floor! lol. We had a fantastic night with LOADS of laughs! I may not live to see tomorrow when Nicky has a look at these photos lol

Spent an hour or so crafting last night, after I got rid of the rough feeling!

Was my friends Birthday today and she likes butterflies so was an easy card to do.

She appeared to like it anyway!

Spent tonight playing about with the flock glitter again! Starting to get good results with it now. Must say I think I might need to tone down my colour combinations though. the card I made tonight you need sunglasses to see it lol. Will take a photo tomorrow when the light is better. Have warned you! I am not responsible if when you look at it your retinas melt!!

Another night of card making

I am quite happy with this card. So much better than the first one I made which is in the bin! I was playing about with colour combinations and made a real mess lol

Was not sure yellow and pink went together but I like the bright colours.

Football is on again tonight so may even make another card!

Had a really awful day today sooo much bad news in one day! Makes me realise how lucky I am!

Any way tomorrow can not be worse, so hurry up tomorrow!

Anyone would think I was getting into this card making!

Well this is today's card. I used 2 of the creative tones borders from PM (black and ivory) then stuck a pink flower brad onto a black button (hubby is gonna kill me! I used superglue and it ran through the holes onto my glass computer desk! oops)

Quite happy with this one. The more I practice and all that lol

Have just been and had my usual trawl round everyone's blog to gain a bit of inspiration. Found some fantastic cards that are way out of my league but I can keep trying to improve!

I have been neglecting my blog!
I got loads of goodies delivered on Thursday from craft superstore. I have only made 2 cards with it so far and I am not very happy with the results! I so have no imagination yet when it come to art! I have even found myself dreaming about making cards!!!! What the hell is that all about????

Had the day from hell yesterday. Will not tell you what I think of our local council because I do not want to have to use the star icon that much! Ended up greeting on the phone I was that angry! Scottish Water are just as bad!

Oh I finished Twilight on Tuesday and I am now on the next one (cant remember the name) Twilight was good easy reading, I am hoping the others are a bit more eventful though.

Well seeing as I cant sleep (been up since 3am) I am going to go try and make a decent card!

Just wanted to say thanks to Debs for all the lovely stuff she sent me in the post on Saturady. Having to say it again as she did not hear me when I said it on Saturday as she was laughing so much at the card I sent. lol

After taking my hubby to work I sat and made 2 cards before 10am this morning!! This is getting bad! Then after being a taxi this time taking my mum to work, I went shopping.

Bought papermania flock glitters, A smirk glitter marker set (which is fab!) and some white Happy Birthday stickers.

Went to Mar's for a cuppa and to drop off a card I had made for her. She has given me even more stuff. Had to remind her that I only have a one bedroom flat! Storage is an issue lol

Anyhoo here a couple of my cards so far ....I so need to get a decent camera.

My hubby is a SHI* He got me 12 red roses! We had agreed no presents! He only got them to make me fell guilty lol I DONT!

Well it was my neice's Birthday today and she was hyper! She got her bedroom tranfered into a Hannah Montana room. My sister had even covered the door in black bin bags and had a reveal this morning. It looks fab!!!! She has painted the walls white and got transfers of Hannah Montana, Guitars and other girly stuff that goes lol Ellie absolutely LOVED it. I bought her a huge crafting kit! It had over 1000 pieces, she is now 7 but has been into crafts a lot longer than me!! lmao

We went to a local restaurant for lunch with all the family then back home to open our magnum of Bollinger! What a disappointment! It was quite sweet and we drank the whole lot and not even tipsy!

Watched loads of crap tv! Did think about doing some craft work but think I will wait till I can get the hang of the watercolour pencils........

I have bought watercolour pencils, some sticky pads, double sided tape and some paper today. It came to nearly £20!

Spent the afternoon tyring out the new pencils they take a bit of getting used to but I think I managed an OKish card. Will be able to take photos and the end of the month when I get my new camera! That is if I don't spend all my money on crafting stuff lol

It is my niece's birthday tomorrow so going out for my lunch at a local restaurant the off home to drink my champers! woohoo

Well I have finally managed to get a photo of my first card! Thanks Mar and Deb! I am hoping to get a new camera at the end of the Month. Have even picked it.

Still not done any more crafting. Need to go get something to colour in the lovely stamps I got from Debz then I will play about at it again. I am so not arty so I am still not sure how it will go lol. Maybe be better after a glass or two of wine lol.

Going to get supplies tomorrow so watch this space.......

Oh and as an after thought I should finish Twilight tonight or tomorrow. Not got much left to read. It is a great book!

Woohoo Looks like I have a job for another year! The local council have finally decided to give Signpost a bit of funding and that makes up the shortfall we had for the year. The lottery funding has stopped but hey I am sure the London Olympics will be worth it!!!!

Just soooo relieved to still have my job. Didn't even have a glass of wine to celebrate! Being a good girl. Only cos I am saving myself for the magnum of bubbly we have for Saturday. We got it for New Year but did not get round to opening it. Cant wait I love champagne! Wont say what it does to me but John doesn't complain ;)

HONEST I did, just canny show it lol having major tech difficulties with the software for my phone.

Went to Mar's today to deliver her Birthday present and she sat me down and made me make a card lol

Would love to say I used this that and the other but all I know is I used paper, card, a stamp,something that makes pretty patterns on the cards and colouring in pens!!! lmao

I am sure it was more technical than that but hey I am NEW!

I am really happy with it though even if I now have a sore neck from leaning over the paper for 3 hours! I could have been to hallmark 10 times by then heehee

Have not done much. Been to ma maws to visit.

Must say though my dinner was fantastic! I love good old fashioned stew and tatties (with my wee added touch of course!)

Watched dancing on ice Todd has got to go this week surely! Although it is funny watching him try to stay upright never mind dance on the ice heehee.

Going to see Mar tomorrow Its is her Birthday, but I wont give her age away! (Be there about 10.30ish OK Mar?)

Ma team is oot the Scottish Cup :( wtf!

Been quite busy today been food shopping and visited my mother in law. It was her Birthday.

Have even prepared tomorrow nights diner. Got my stew marinading in red wine, garlic and seasoning. Watched Saturday kitchen today and he made an amazing wild boar pie, so that's what I am making tomorrow but with beef lol, whole shallots and chunky veg. I canny wait!

Have got no further with twilight. Went to bed last night and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was sound. Didnt even realise that John had left for work till I woke up at 9am lol.

Saturday night tv is crap so I might get some of my book read tonight.

Woke up to realise that the weather man had lied AGAIN! No snow! Was gutted cos I really wanted the day off work. Had a visit to Donaldson's School today and it was a waste of time because no parents turned up....who in their right mind would when its sooo cold outside???

So work today was unproductive. Well until I got back to the office and did loads of enquiries that were left from last weeks rush.

Read more of twilight last night and it is very easy reading. Just going back to bed now to read more. Was in bed but realised I had not done this blog and could not handle the grief from .... you know who you are!!!! so i got back up!

Well that's it done so back to bed to read.

Managed to upload one photo of me today woohoo lol Getting used to the settings in here now. really need to get the software on the computer so I can get the photos off my phone.

Got home and made 2 dinners tonight's and tomorrows. Mega lentil soup for tomorrow nights did dins lol Always prefer soup the 2nd day.

While I was waiting for John to finish work I started reading twilight and I am enjoying it so far. Going to go to bed early so I can read some more.

For a day off work I have been very busy! Mostly tying to keep my car on the road! Had 3 close shaves today. Once with a lampost and twice I was nearly in someones garden! Was scary.

Went to see my pals new baby he is getting bigger all the time and such a cutie then it was off to pick up my mum and head to the gym.

Been swimming today and had lunch with ma maw and sis at the gym. Then off to livingston centre for a wee bit of retail therapy to ease my nerves lol Got beautiful green leather gloves and a fab new bracelet. Oops and thats me trying hard to curb spending this month!

I now feeling a tad sore after all the swimming so going for a hot bath before watching 24!!

It just can not be February already!

I can not believe that its February! I just hope the next 7 months go as fast! Only 215 slleps till my holiday now! WOOHOO

Starting to get used to this now, have even managed to a few bits and bobs about myself AND I did it all by myself lol.

My challenge to myself is to try and write at least something each day this month, although I do bugger all so it may be a tad boring!!! lol

Well once I have finished perving over Nadal in the Tennis my plan is to finish reading Tess Gerristen's The Bone Garden. Have to finish it by tomorrow as it is a library book that i borrowed from a work colleague.

I might even get round to adding the software to my computer so I can add photos!

Well it is Friday night had a we glass o wine and after hassle fae ma pal I am now writting what is known to everyone as a blog!!!!

This week has been a killer at work I have been so busy! WE normally have around 30 enquiries a month and as of Tuesday we had 8. As of today we have had 35! It has been mad!

Hence the wine tonight! well deserved me thinks
